Synergy Safeguarding offers 3 levels of accreditation for organisations and contractors to demonstrate that they are Synergy Safe
Level 1 accreditation:
Safeguarding Essentials

For organisations and contractors who may not work directly in communities and homes, but who wish to have an awareness of safeguarding and aspire to evidence that they operate as a safe contractor with a safe workforce and supply chain.

Organisations and contractors have basic Safeguarding & Domestic Abuse training.
DBS compliance (safeguard-me app) as appropriate.
Modern Slavery statement (if applicable).

Accreditation costs between £1K - £3K depending on the size of the business.
The e-learning costs, ‘Safeguard-me’ app, and DBS (if required) are additional depending on requirements and how many users.
Additional consultancy costs can be added to create any bespoke package that may benefit your business and workforce.

On completion of accreditation you will receive a CPD certificate and downloadable resources from the training for all learners.
You will receive the Synergy Safe Safeguarding Essentials logo and support to write a bespoke statement for your website and any other promotional material.
Your accreditation will be reviewed annually.
Level 2 accreditation:
Safeguarding Advanced

Organisations and contractors who work in homes and communities. This includes contractors who are procured by the Housing Associations or Local Authorities to carry out activities and acting on behalf of them. The organisation or contractor is required to be compliant, competent, and confident in Safeguarding & Domestic Abuse processes. Contractors are to understand the importance of identifying, reporting, and have accountability to pass on concerns.
The are able to evidence they operate as an organisation or contractor with a safe workforce and supply chain.

Advanced safeguarding training that can be tailored as required.
DBS compliance and safeguard-me app
Designated Safeguarding lead appointed and supervision available
Support with writing policies, procedures, and statements (inc Modern Slavery).
Safeguarding health checks (audits) including monitoring concerns raised
Social Value measures and ESG commitments to evidence positive impact.

Level 3 accreditation:
Safeguarding Excellence

All the requirements as detailed for Level 2 accreditation Safeguarding Advanced, but for organisations and contractors working in settings where they come into regular contact with vulnerable adults and / or children. Therefore, the workforce will need to be extra vigilant requiring in depth knowledge of Safeguarding & Domestic Abuse procedures and practices.
Organisations and contractors are able to demonstrate they operate with a safe workforce and supply chain.

DBS compliance and safeguard-me app
Designated Safeguarding lead appointed and supervision available
